About Massage Therapy
What's so important about massage for athletes? Massage has been proven to reduce inflammation by removing excess fluids from taxed muscles. This is important for the athlete's recovery and performance since reducing inflammation results in healthier muscle tissue. Another thing that plagues athletes is Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness. This is referred to as DOMS. Many athletes experience debilitating DOMS 2-3 days after an intense workout. The good news is that massage has been shown to reduce DOMS by 30%!
Reduce Muscle Inflammation
Massage helps flush out excess fluid from overworked muscles, reducing inflammation and speeding up the healing process—so you’re ready for your next session.
Crush DOMS Before It Hits
Massage therapy can cut Delayed-Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) by up to 30%, helping you recover faster and stay consistent with your training.
Boost Performance & Recovery
With healthier muscle tissue and reduced tension, regular massage keeps your body in peak condition—ready for whatever your workout throws at you.
Support Long-Term Mobility
By improving circulation and relieving tightness, massage enhances your range of motion and keeps your movement sharp and efficient over time.
